Award-winning, non-profit performing arts organization seeks a dynamic, creative individual possessing a high degree of initiative with strong project management and leadership skills and hands-on experience in all aspects of fundraising. Key qualifications/duties:
Professional experience in strategic planning, major and individual giving, prospect research and cultivation, Board relations, special events, and grants management; performing arts experience preferred.
Work closely with the Artistic Director, Business & Finance Director, and the Board of Directors on the implementation of the organization's fundraising plan, with emphasis on increasing individual gifts.
Professional affiliations and direct experience with the culture of NYC fundraising
Engaging, outgoing personality with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills.
Excellent writing skills; extremely organized with ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities; pro-active; team player.
Computer proficiency (Word, Excel, and Google Drive essential. Filemaker Pro and Quickbooks a plus).
Although office location and hours are flexible, this full-time position requires the ability to occasionally work weekends and at least one night a week in the theater.

Salary based on experience. Three-month trial period; one-week paid vacation plus legal holidays and monthly health insurance contribution after six months; two-week paid vacation after one year.
