Alva Rogers is a prize-winning playwright, actor, musician, and performance artist. Her play, scooping the darkness empty, was featured in the 2006 Women Playwrights Festival at Seattle Reperatory Theater. She was Playwright-in-Residence at The Public Theater in 2003-04.
